Goals and Aspirations of the IHMCS Governance Bodies
IHMCS Advisory Council
The IHMCS Advisory Council is established to provide leadership in six functional areas, and in so doing provide talent resources and advice to the Pastor and the Principal in the governance and management of the school. Members of the Council include the Pastor, Principal and seven appointed members. Nominations for new members of the council are sought each spring.

IHMCS Home & School Committee
The IHMCS Home & School Committee (the “Committee”) is one of six standing committees of the IHMCS Advisory Council (the “Council”) and is responsible for facilitating and overseeing the fundraising and volunteer efforts within the school. The Home & School Committee will function within the Council and the Chair of the Committee will be one of seven appointed members to the Council.
Although all school parents are members of the Home and School Committee, committee leadership includes Chair, Past Chair and six members each assigned to a key area of responsibility. Additionally, the Principal serves as an advisory member. Nominations for new members of the Home and School Committee Leadership are sought each spring.
