“...a gift to them that we hope they will carry forward into their adult lives...”
|
“To have our childre n in an enviro nment that suppor ts and reinforces the teaching of Jesus is a gift to them that we hope will carry forward into their adult lives. We have thought provoking conversations and questions as a result of the teaching and weekly mass lessons involving the Bible and practices of the Church. Our family has grown in depth and appreciation for the church community because of our regular presence at IHMCS- in part because of its proximity to the church. The teachers at IHMCS are committed to showing our children how to see and recognize God’s work and blessings. That those blessings are reinforced by people other than their family gives our children a better appreciation for finding God’s light in all things.” - Stephanie (IHM Parent) |

“He lives within the heart...”
|
“I get the privilege to go to a great Catholic school. Here my faith and life have been nurtured by people teaching me the ways of God. We learn that God is always with you, not because he lives on a certain ship, or in a house, he lives within the heart.
At school, we learn how to handle conflict and world problems the right way, God’s way. Last year when the war was a big deal and fright to everyone, we were asked to write about what troubled us most. I wrote that I wasn’t frightened a bit, because I knew that God was watching over me, and if something was to happen that He would help me through it.
As I grow up, I know that life will keep throwing more and more complex twists on the road, but with faith, and a bit of God’s magic, some moments in life will feel like a dose of heaven. “ - Katie (IHM 7th Grade Student)

“For Paul and I, faith in God is a part of every moment of the day. We wanted our kids in a school environment where they could not only live out that faith, but be encouraged in it and taught about it. We have fou

nd that at IHM.
Being a part of IHM keeps us connected to our church and our faith in a way that allows our family to grow in our commitment to God every day. Being Christian, being Catholic, is not about Sundays, it’s about all day every day. We want our children to grow up seeing faith as a part of every aspect of their lives. Being at IHM reinforces that consistently for them.” - Corrina (IHM Parent)
