I love going to IHMCS, because of the great academic curriculum it provides. I also like all of the extra activities they let us do. I really liked when my class studied the Mayan Indians. We studied about their culture, agriculture, religion, mathematics and writing skills. They were an advanced civilization that became extinct."

“We chose IHMCS in 1990 for the first of our four children, for the care and discipline Catholic education would offer. Three of those four have gone on to excel at Benilde-St. Margaret’s high school and Marquette University. We feel their successes can be attributed to the strong academic and spiritual foundations given to them from the beginning at IHMCS.
Our son, Payton, now in the 6th grade appears to be striving for the higher goals his class has offered. With our world’s daily challenges, we feel IHMCS has given our children the tools to go forward making positive choices.

“I liked [my teacher] because she had high expectations...”

“My second grade teacher at IHM was my favorite teacher. She rocks! I like her because she has high expectations for her students, which made me try harder to do my best. My favorite thing she does is called the “Word of the Week”. She writes a word on the board which we have no idea what it means and gives us a week to look it up in the dictionary. I still try to use the word balderdash! I also liked the work packets because they were fun! I was lucky to have her as my teacher.”
