Logo Shirt/Sweatshirt Ordering
You may order more uniform logo shirts and sweatshirts through the school office.
We will be placing orders for the uniform sweatshirts and blue short and long sleeve polo shirts on the first Monday of every month. All order will be placed at the end of that day. It will take about 2 weeks to receive your order and we will send the shirts and sweatshirts home with your child.

General Uniform Policy
The Catholic School uniform symbolizes respect for authority and order, as well as the idea of basic equality in the eyes of God. Immaculate Heart of Mary Students should wear their uniforms in a manner that reflects pride in themselves and in their school.
All students in Grades K – 8 of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School are required to wear uniforms during the school day. Parents are responsible for assuring that their children are appropriately dressed. Occasionally students are exempted from the uniform code because of a non-uniform day. If a child cannot wear a uniform on a day other than those listed exceptions, the School must receive a written request/permission from the parents on the day the child is out of uniform. IHM has a Uniform Code and all parents and students are expected to comply with it.
All uniform pants and shorts must be purchased through Donald’s Department Store to be in compliance with the policy. IHM logo sweatshirts and light blue logo shirts are purchased through school.

Jumper:
- Plaid uniform jumper Grades K-4 (#9403)
- (Bike shorts may be worn under jumper, never alone.)
Skirt:
- Plaid uniform skirt Grades 5-8 (#3403)
- (Bike shorts may be worn under skirt, never alone.)
Pants:
- Navy blue twill uniform pants purchased at Donald’s
Shirts:
- Solid white polo shirt, short or long sleeve
- Solid white uniform blouse, short or long sleeve, purchased at Donald’s
- Light blue IHM logo shirt, short or long sleeve, purchased through school
- Solid white turtleneck
Shorts:
- Navy blue twill uniform shorts purchased at Donald’s
- (Shorts may be worn April 15 through October 15.)
Sweatshirts:
- Navy blue IHM logo sweatshirt purchased through school
Sweaters:
- Solid navy blue cardigan purchased at Donald’s
Socks:
- Solid white or navy blue socks or tights
- Plaid ruffle socks
- (Socks or tights must be worn at all times.)
Leggings:
- Leggings purchased at Donald’s may be worn under jumpers and skirts. Leggings will have a narrow, not flared leg.

Boys Uniform
Pants:
- Navy blue twill uniform pants purchased at Donald’s

- Solid white polo shirt, short or long sleeve
- Light blue IHM logo shirt, short or long sleeve, purchased through school

Socks:
- Solid white or navy blue socks
- (Socks must be worn at all times.
General Appearance
- All uniforms should be neat, clean and in good repair.
- All uniform clothing should be appropriately sized.
- Shirts MUST be tucked in at all times.
- Skirts and jumpers should be no more than 2 inches above knee.
- T-shirts worn under uniform shirts are to be plain white (free of lettering or graphics).
- Pants and shorts are to be worn at the waist, above the hips.
- Hair should be clean and well-groomed; hair should not be dyed an unnatural color.
- Make-up and jewelry should be appropriate for school and not create a distraction.
- Hats and sunglasses are not to be worn during the school day unless authorized for special events.
- Shoes are to be neat and clean-soled without a heel; boots are to be worn when needed.
- Jackets should be kept in lockers and not worn during the school day.
- The school administration reserves the right to determine if attire, hair, and make-up is acceptable
Non-Uniform Attire
- On non-uniform days, clothing should reflect Christian values with respect to graphics, lettering and physical fit. Students dressed inappropriately will be required to change into suitable attire.
- Students should not wear ripped or torn clothing or clothing with alcohol/tobacco logos and/or inappropriate language.
- A shirt MUST be worn over or under all tank tops – this applies to both boys and girls.
- Shorts (of appropriate length) may only be worn on non-uniform days from April 15 through October 15.
- Socks must be worn at all times.

Please bring a School Rebate form with you when shopping at Donalds in person. your school will receive a rebate of 6% for every dollar spent at Donald’s during the year (5% during your personal summer sale). In addition, as a valued customer you will receive a Preferred Shopping Card which, when full, has a value of $25.00.
