Registration Procedures for New Families

K- 8 Registration
Registration for the upcoming school year for kindergarten through 8th grade takes place in late February/early March. Current school families receive registration materials in mid-February. 

If you are interested in a current opening or it is past the registration period, please call the office to inquire about the current status of openings at (952) 935-0004.

Registration Forms
Registration forms are available by calling the school office at (952) 935-0004.  The registration fee must accompany the registration form.

Preschool Registration 
Preschool registration begins in February. See Preschool page for current status of openings. 

Principal Meeting for 7th and 8th Grade Students
All new seventh and eighth grade students and their parents are required to meet with the principal as part of the admissions process.  IHMCS will contact you to schedule this meeting upon receipt of registration forms for new seventh and eighth grade students.

Scholarships (Financial Aid)
It is our hope that every student, regardless of financial situation, has the opportunity to learn in a Catholic environment.  See Tuition and Financial Aid for more details on scholarships (Financial Aid).  


Acceptance Guidelines for Students

Any student applying to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School will be considered for admission based on the order of the following guidelines. The parish and school administrator will make the final determination of accepting students.

•  Current students in grades K-8, along with their siblings
•  IHM Parishioners* not currently enrolled in the school
•  Students in IHMCS preschool
•  Members of another parish without a Catholic school
•  Other parishioners and general public
•  Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School follows Archdiocesan standards - we do not discriminate based on a person’s sex, national origin, ethnicity or physical disabilities.

IHM Parishioners, Active and Contributing
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church is committed to making the school accessible and affordable to active members of the parish by providing a subsidy to the school for families who attend the school. It is the church’s expectation that each member of the parish be active in the church and school through the sharing of their time, talent, and financial support commensurate with their ability to give.
