Music and Band
The IHMCS music program has two components: Vocal and Band. All students Kindergarten thru eighth grade receive instruction in vocal music, music history and music theory. Students meet twice per week with a music specialist.
Band is available to students in fifth through eighth grade; Jazz Band is for students in sixth thru eighth grade.
Highlights of the IHMCS music program include the annual Christmas and Spring concerts when we enjoy the fruits of our young musicians’ hard work.
