Middle School

The IHMCS middle school provides students with the academic, social, and spiritual preparation necessary for success in high school. Our goal is not only to educate, but to instill a sense of both social and Christian leadership based upon strong faith and self-esteem.

Our rigorous high school preparatory curriculum is challenging, emphasizing the basics of writing and language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and religion.

Students may also participate in extra-curricular activities* such as Math League, Jr High school musical, sports, band, Mad Science Club, Chess Club, Book Club, YMCA Model United Nations Club, Future City, Quiz Bowl and the Spelling Bee Club. 

In addiiton, students have the opportunity to become involved in Student Council, community outreach projects and religious retreats. The skills and values learned in class and in extra-curricular activities in our middle school are invaluable for students, especially in today’s challenging social climate.

Our traditional Catholic school atmosphere provides the perfect framework to help develop socially and morally responsible young men and women.
